There is important information I want to convey you all regarding IGNOU Assignments.

Some subjects of MP (MBA) programs are semester wise.


In IGNOU there are two types of sessions. first is called January-June Session which is called odd semester like first semester, third semester and fifth semester.

Another is July-December Semester which is called even semester like second semester and fourth semester.

You can re-register or you can fill exam form for any subject in any session.

But as for Assignments point of view you can not write assignments for some subjects of odd semester (Jan-June Semester) which are not in course of Even semester.

Some subjects are common for both the semester too.


Common Subjects for both the semesters-

MS-01, MS-02, MS-03, MS-04, MS-05. MS-06, MS-07, MS-08, MS-09, MS-10, MS-11, MS-91, MS-95, MS-100

Means you can write assignments for following subjects in any semester.

January-June Semesters Subjects

All common subjects, MS-21, MS-22, MS-23, MS-24, MS-41, MS-42, MS-43, MS-51, MS-52, MS-53, MS-54, MS-61, MS-62, MS-63, MS-64, MS-65 , MS-92 and MS-93

Means You can write assignments for those subjects in the January-June Semesters only and you can not write these assignments (MS-21 to MS-93 in list above) in July-December Semester.

July-December Semester Subjects

All common subjects, MS-25, MS-26, MS-27, MS-28, MS-29, MS-44, MS-45, MS-46, MS-55, MS-56, MS-57, MS-58, MS-66, MS-68, MS-611, MS-612, MS-94, MS-96 and MS-97

Means You can write assignments for those subjects in the July-December Semesters only and you can not write these assignments (MS-25 to MS-97 in list above) in January-June Semester.

This is Jan-June Semester and last date for submitting your assignments is 30th April 2014. If you could not write assignments given in Jan-June semester list then you can not write these assignments in the next semester and you have to wait for next Jan-June Semester again. It will be big delay for you.

Last date for exam form submission with late fee of Rs. 300, If You can write assignments in this semester till 20th April then also you can submit your exam form.
And
Last date for exam form submission with late fee of Rs. 500, If You can write assignments in this semester till 30th April then also you can submit your exam form.

If you already submitted you exam form then write your assignments till 30th April and submit in your study center. Thus will get grades for your assignments and in next semester in July-December semester you can fill these subjects in your exam form that will save your one semester. Other wise you have to wait for next Jan-June semester.
